When did this start and how do you know it has no spark?? If you have verified that check the ignition module (steering column). If that checks good and your wiring is good then I would lead to your ECU which controls the spark...

Okay first you will have to get a test light or multi meter and see if there is battery voltage on the #1 terminal of the coil with the key in the on position.

if not then you have to find out why there is no voltage coming from the ignition. most likely a bad fuse.

but if you do then the ground pulse maybe missing and that comes from the power transistor and from the computer to the power transistor.

to test the power transistor you unplug it and connect a power supply of 1.5v (one dry cell) power transistor terminal 2 (-) and 3 (+) and then check for continuity between 1 (+) and 2 (-). continuity should exist

then remove power from the terminals and recheck for continuity and it should not exist!
if the\at don't check out your power transistor is bad and if it does we will need to go fue\rther into the computer. but the power transistor is a common part to go bad. other than the coil and cap and rotor!

have you check the cap and rotor? did you cj\heck for spark at the coil before the cap? if this all check out then your crank sensor is the next in line to test!

Were do i find the module and the ingition coil on a 1992 chevy truck vortec motor

module is under the distributor cap, bolted to the plate that the cap bolts to. It will have two wiring harness' attached to it. The coil is off to the side on the passenger side If I remember right and it too has two wiring harness' attached and one "spark plug" wire from it to the distributor cap.

The ignition module is bolted to the distributor, underneath the cap. It has two wiring harness' attached to it. The coil is mounted off to the side. I thnk it's on the passenger side. It too will have two wiring harness' attached and one large "spark plug" wire from it to the distributor cap.

04' Ram 1500, bad mis-fire. cust repl s/plugs. no help. Codes for coils #7 & 8 w/mis-fire. replaced coils & wire set. Better, but still P0300. Compression good

You still have random misfires (PO300)
You most likely replaced those coils that set a code, and those were not the one bad offender, spiking the computer module.
Take a new coil and put in a cylinder,no change, replace old coil and move new one to next cylinder. You can do that once or twice a day, if you have nothing else to do. You need a 90 degree day, to really get that solved, unless you have an ignition oscilloscope.
Never had a bad spark plug in 45 years.

Only getting 6 v out of the coil and no spark from distributor

If the engine is not turning over fast enough, dragging, then, the starter may be pulling amps from the ignition, and causing the no start problem.Try this, while someone is turning the engine over, grab the positive cable, and the negative cable,(insulated part)and feel for heat, witch ever cable heats up,is bad, replace it.Try this ,and let me know. And lets go from there,I will be here for you.

1992 hyundai auto, have replaced starter module, and ingition coil, however still have no spark,

Take/Tow your vehicle to an authorized Hyundai dealership and pay the diagnostic fee... they will tell you exactly what the problem is and the cost of parts/labor to fix it... at least this way you'll know what the problem is and what's required to fix it.
