1999 Windstar 3.8L 6cl. Popping sound under motor.

Have your motor mounts checked. With the hood open and the emergency brake on Watch for excessive movement with the engine while you put the engine in drive and then park. Also watch your drive axles to see if they are making the noise when you change the transmission from drive to reverse. Sometimes a bolt or a spark plug could be wedged between the motor and the frame making a high squeaking noise when the engine shifts position.

Took a right turn, made a loud pop sound, now won't stop making a popping sound. Not as loud as the first pop sound. What could it be?

Not enough information to answer. Need manufacturer, year, model, and engine size in order to answer the question.

When i put in 4 wheel drive i got a clicking popping sound and when in 2 wheel drive it sounds like a rattling sound that gets louder the faster you go

Sounds like gear and chain need to be replaced in transfer case.
The popping and or clicking is the chain trying to climb up over the teeth on the gear in transfer case.
