Replace the solenoid, the device that actually pushes the door lock up and pulls it down.
That would be my first guess and its fairly simple to do, hope this help.

Your most likely will have to remove the door panel-to examine the likage and relays that are also part of the inside of panel-thats the starting point-also power actuaters have known to go out-located and pop riveted to the panel frame.

you must be joking, right.bypass the load control and your wheels will lock up for a pastime.front pads last approx 25k/rotors about 40k(normal loads)try it with a FULL load, weight wise.

1997 dodge ram pu 4x4, when I turn corners or start moving I hear a grinding noise coming from the rear end area. Any idea what would cause this and estimated repair?

most common cause is rear pads sticking (rust) and when you move, it has to break the rust from the rotor, hence the grinding noise.as long as it only does it when you start moving or turn first thing do not worry.....

1996 DODGE RAM 1500 4X4 5.9 LTR.. Problem is that

You have a blown heater core my friend. I have a quick fix and a permanent one. Quick fix is to unhook the hear lines from the fire wall and couple them together. That will stop it from over heating. 2 requires a friend and a full 6 hours. Remove the dash. I recommend getting a haynes manual for the dash removal. Hope this will point you in the right direction.

I have a 1997 Dodge Ram Picup. The power locks on

Hello, the first thing we need to inspect is the encased wires the run from the door jam to the door. If you open the drivers door, you will see a black wrap plastic sleeve. Inside that sleeve the wire are going through. You will need to open the sleeve up, sometimes there is a **** already in it. Look at each wire to see if there is a break in it or you may find some of the already broken off. This issue is often found the problem, and most makes and models that use this type of wire routing has the same issues. The noise you are hearing possibly from a broken wire(s) might be a relay that is not getting fully grounded, causing this noise. Hope this helps you isolate you concern. Craig

94 Dodge Ram front Axle not locking for 4X4

there is no pressure /vacuum required to lock the axle
the action is the actuator moves a dog clutch that positively engages the gears
so is the problem else where
maybe broken axle , wheel locks are not engaging
