Hi 2004 colt 2000i keep on blow the fuses for the the dash board instrument( ref counter fuel guage and heat guage

Your car's ground wire is most likely not in connection with chassis properly, therefore you will experience static electrical build-up. I "ground" wire isnt properly connected to chasses frame at the point of contact you can suffer from electrical problems like the one you have.

Fuse # 2 keeps burning out

Put a taillight bulb in place of the fuse. It will light when wires are shorted. Wiggle and check wires until the bulb does not burn. You can also get fuses that light up when blown.

Tail lights and dash lights out, fuse keeps blowing

a fuse burning is due to a short in the circuit ( something is grounding out before the load). the load is the light. heavy amperage draw will blow a fuse, but assuming you didnt wire up 4 big off road lights or a winch to that circuit, its most likely a short.

95 neon dash lights work but guages dont work at all.

Lets start at the beginning. Did you check the fuse and the circuit that powers the gauges ?

Is there a master fuse for the instrument fuse panel? I have replaced the 15 A fuse for the console power socket but it is still dead.

No, only one fuse for the guages and should be the 15a. If the fuse is not blown and the dash is still not working you have a bad guage, wiring or guage cluster possibly even a short!!

Dash lights dont work

You may have blown some fuses when the short occurred. Check all fuses . Also check any fuse wires that you may find under the dash. These are wires with built in fuse. they are easy to spot if burned out.

Fuse for dash lights/tail lights keep burning out.

You most likely have a short in your wiring. Meaning, there is probably a rip in the insulation around one of the wires and it is grounding itself out somewhere. Check the wire harness in your trunk for physical damage.

Keep blowing a fuse on marker lights and dash lights (same fuse for both)

disconnect marker lights from power re insert fuse if dash stays on search for trouble in marker light circuit possible bad ground or bulb short in socket if dash blows fuse than look under dash for a damaged feed line shorting or ground short
