Question about 1992 Toyota Camry V6

Loose Motor Mount 93 Camry

I have a 1993 Toyota Camry, I took the car to inspection the other day and they failed me due to my loose motor mount. Whenever i shift the car into gear, ( drive, reverse, etc. ) the car jumps and the entire car shakes. I dont want to bring my car to a mechanic and get charged a ridiculous price for something that i can fix myself, If anyone can help me out it would be more than appreciated. Thanks again!

Didnt they quote a price for you?it too much? then change it yourself. I dont know why your asking about it. its not hard if you have the right tools and knowledge to do it. if you think thats ridiculous, think how much time you will spend and possibly injure yourself.

The support (dogbone) on the motor mount is cracked

This usually happens when the motor mount near the firewall goes bad, this will allow the motor to move more causing the dog bone to crack, both of these mounts should be replaced.

2006 Toyota Corolla, every morning there is squeaky sound when I start the car. Later, it goes away. It is for the past six months. Is it serpentine belt causing this sound, if so how I can loose...

The problem is the rear motor mount is filled with hydraulic fluid that leaks onto the accessory drive belt. The motor mounts fail prematurely and the fluid makes the belt squeak. Toyota dealership I took my 2006 Corolla to replaced the motor mount and belt free of charge.

93 camry 3.0L V6 timing belt

A 6 cylinder is an interference fit engine . Chances are you bent some valves IF the belt slipped.
Mounts usually don't make a vehicle shake as you described.
I believe the milage intervalfor timing belts is every 60 thousand.
Good luck

93 camry 3.0L V6 timing belt

Hello, and welcome to FixYa. Yes, you can drive the car to the shop without fear of any internal engine damage.

Your engine is not an "interference' engine; your valves will not be damaged if the belt slips a tooth or two. In fact, any Toyota engine with a timing belt is a non-interference engine.

Thanks for choosing FixYa for assistance.

Front motor mount on 1993 camry 4 cylinder

The mount is probably bad anyhow. so get it out however you need to, you can always cut the nut or bolt off and the new mount will have a new stud. so you will only need a nut.
