Question about 1994 Geo Metro
Take the vehicle to Auto Zone or any other Local auto parts store that will read the codes with a scanner. This is most likely the o2 sensor which is pretty common. The part will cost about $40 plus the cost of the special socket to remove and install it. A repair shop will charge you about $140 to $170 to do the job. It is located on the exhaust manifold or Exhaust pipe. If the code indicates an upper or Lower then you will have to locate it using a repair manual. I recommend Haynes but you can use just about any manual as long as it shows the part location.
