Dennis The A/C sysyst needs to be evacuated snd properly charged by a EPA certified tech. Even if you get thw condensor off you are still going to need the help and equipment of a shop. Taking it apart would ******** the shop and would subject your systm to contamination which could cause future problems or damage. They come off easily , the system should be empty and without pressure at this point. So, It's your call. Good Luck.

Get a haynes or chiltons for a guide. most only require that you remove radiator first, some need grille removal. System MUST be evacuated before filling and when installing, make sure no bent sheet metal will cut through new unit.

Probably a bad sending unit in the tank,or maybe a broken tank baffle.(Either way, you're looking at taking out the tank to find out.

AC blows hot air, Heat works fine

Chances are you got it fixed in the winter and they didnt think to check your A/C condenser. The Condenser sits next to or in front of the radiator cooling unit. THey get punctured and leak freon. The heat being blown is indiciative that your blower and control unit is fine. If the repair was done by a reputable body shop or the dealer they should have checked it. If they havent checked it then they failed to do their job properly and you should have it reviewed. A lot of times they will see the radiator is undamaged and overlook the condenser. Take it aback to the dealer and have it reviewed. Tell them to specifically check the condenser unit

2000 pontiac montana air conditioner driver side vent blow warm air yet passenger side and rear vents blow cold air. sometimes the driver side vent blow cold air. is flapper valve stuck sometimes?

That is correct, the air blend door actuator. "flapper valve" may need to be replaced or cleaned and free from binding up. Good luck and hope this helps. If there is an Auto Zone in your area, they can order the part you need and give you the step by step instructions to removing the old actuator and replacing it if it's damaged. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to help.

Changing sparks plugs in a 2000 pontiac montana

remove the ignition coil pack ( 2 10mm bolts on front of it and 2 13 mm nuts on the back side) u will need a long extension and deep socket for the back ones , and unplug all electrical connectors and remove it from the vehicle and you should be able to reach the back plugs without a problem.
