You need to get a new ign lock cylinder put in. Or you can do this . You will need two keys as you may already have an extra. Purchase a new lock cylinder.Put your old chip key in the cylinder to make a circuit connection through the wires. Remove the panel under steering column and find the orange wire, like the one on the new lock cylinder. Disconnect the wire and plug in new cylinder wire. Hide or mount new cylinder under dash if you want to secure car when away. Start car from old cylinder that now needs no chip key. Did mine and it saved me lots of $$$$$.

You have a broken wire in the steering column. there are ways to cheat, but to fix it right, the dealer is the best option. Cost will probably be in the 400 dollar range for a new ignition tumbler, install, and programming.

Cause If You Go To The Dealer Ouch They Will Hit You Up. But I Asure This Is How It Will Happen Cause It Is How It Happen To Me
