Clock stops intermittently on pontiac vibe..everything else works ok..

    it reverts back to 12:00 after the engine is switched off.

The first step to take is to check your fuses for the clock. If the fuse(s) are good, the your clock probably has an internal fault.

Many of these digital car clocks manifest a dead or intermittent display. This is a fairly common problem for these clocks after they have had a few years on them.

The good news is that you can have it refurbished for a reasonable price via Dr. Clock at the www.subaru-clock.com website. You can even email him and he may be able to provide you with some technical tips for removal of the clock.

it could be a bad blower motor resister that controls fan speed depending on what fan setting you have set the dash switch on.it could also be the blower motor itself that needs to be replaced.with the blower on try tapping the motor and see if it tries to start.if it tries or starts to work then the motor will need replacing.
