The first step to take is to check your fuses for the clock. If the fuse(s) are good, the your clock probably has an internal fault.
Many of these digital car clocks manifest a dead or intermittent display. This is a fairly common problem for these clocks after they have had a few years on them.

What do you mean STOPS? goes to 1:00 o clock? turns off when driving? loses time? keeps time but sometimes wont light up??
