At times the battery connection doesn't work and the car won't start; if I move the negative connection it will start, but at times the car won't continue to run and it takes 5-10 minutes before it will run. Not sure if it's just the battery cable or something with the electrical system. The battery is good.

Well you need to clean the battery connection an reinstall it so it doesnt move,as for it running bad for 10-15 minutes,it because whenever you lose battery power on a chrysler product it resets all adaptives in the computer and it will eventually relearn after running for a while,so if you fix the battery problem that should be the end of it,hope this helps

My car won't turn over, everything works, but doesn't make a noise when I try to start it

Go under the car and see if you have 12 volts at the purple wire to the starter solenoid when the key is held to crank position, the wire may be broken or the starter solenoid is defective.

My 2005 xb won't start and when you put your foot on the brake it is tight and won't move

The tightness of the brake is normal. as the servo doesn't work until you run the engine. It could still be the battery as the radio only takes a small amount of power, whereas the rngine needs a lot more, get it checked by an electrician.

Car wont start, seems like battery went dead

If the car doesn't start with a jump you might have a bad alternator. The alternator supplies voltage to the car once the engine is running. If the battery is dead, and the alternator isn't putting out sufficient voltage, the engine cannot run. Then again sometimes a car with an extremely dead or internally shorted battery WON'T start with a jump. Replace the battery and try again.

Your first problem is to find out why the intermittent no-power problem. Honestly, that sounds like a loose conmnection somewhere. check all your grounds for clean and tight conditions Also, battery connections and alternator connections. Double check your power distribution center for any loose wires or poor connections. Once you solve that problem, then you can diagnose the other problems with poor idle and temp. gauge.

That is quite a car! Remove the negative terminal from the battery and allow to sit for about a minute. Is the battery in good condition even after sitting? You may "consider" replacing if there is even a glitch. This should reset the system. Let me know what you see.
