That is NOT correct. If the freesstar has rear air then there is an expansion valve next to the rear evaporator, which is located in behind the drivers side panel at the rear of the van. The front a/c uses an oriface tube which is located under the cowl covers/wiper assembly. When you disconect the accumulator, you will find in inside the tube leading to the front ebaporator.

My rear ac its turned on but the air is not cool . and in front is work normal i dont know whats is the problem ?

It is either a rear blend door problem or a bad rear expansion valve. If the rear evaporator is cold then it's the blend door problem if it is warm you have a bad expansion valve

Rear air on a 2007 Explorer never gets cold, even though the front air is ice cold. The heating part works fine, but the A/C never gets cold.

We had this problem on a 2004 Freestar, and the expansion valve was plugged next to the rear evaporator. The expansion valve allows the freon to flow through the evaporator and cool it. I replaced it and it works good.

Cleaning the Mass Air Flow Sensor

i will try to help. 171/174 indicates lean condition in engine. the mass air flow sensor is located in the rubber tube going to throttlebody. you can try to clean it. using mild carb cleaner safe for sensors, remove sensor from tube. spray clean the tiny wires located in the cylinder. do not touch them, they are very delicate. these engines are also notorious for leaking intake gaskets and faulty pcv valves. these will all set these 2 codes. feel free with anymore questions.
