No, that would probably be the clearcoat and would need refinishing.

Not to good to self diagnose. It is better to go down to the doctors.

What should i use to fix leaks in my roof of my motorhome before painting

check around the caravan shops for a paint on product that remains flexible and seals caravan and motor home roofs . It is fairly expensive but is designed to fill small gaps and remain flexible so that it doesn't crack. It is also supposed to be uv rated . I have never used it but I have seen it for sale at caravan and motor home shows in the areas that sell spares It may be available on the web if you care to surf for it. Go for caravan roof sealer

Paint on excursion

Our firm licensed the patented technology that Ford used for their paint durability analysis of the Ford Excursion. The issue with most Excursions is paint applied below Ford's minimum paint thickness specifications that should not have been released to the market. Conusmers have been active and in 10 states have taken action in Small Claims Court or outside of it and the results have been that Ford has compensated the owners. We have published Ford's lack of compliance about later years Excursion on page 118 in our research publication:

Just called my local Nissan dealer and they did not know anything about it.

Also, you can check out this thread for some experiences of forum members so far with this recall: nissan-patrol-gu-gr-10/gu-series-4-pimpily-dash-52267

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Rain comes in and sloshes around the floor in right back seat area. Not sure if it is from after-factory installed sun roof, windshield, or rear window. I've heard that there is a product you can shoot...

Often just like a roof leak in a house, you have to look into the places you wouldnt think of. Could be a leak from the sun roof going down the inside of the roof and down the side to the floor. Does the hatch have a leak in the seal? Sometimes you can have a drain plug up that will let the car pool up. Does the sunroof have a catch pan and drain tubes. My prelude (factory sun roof) had plugged drains and leaked. If you find that you have a leaky Window, DONT USE SILICONE!!! The acids in the silicone will blister your paint and make your car rust. If the rubber (Im assuming that you or someone reading this may have some rubber seals on their car) is pliable enough they make a glass seal that is to seal the glass to the rubber.

Hope this helps some... Dale

New paint was applied 3 months ago started to get small blisters just like the orignal. What cause this .

small blisters in paint are normally caused by moisture in the air when painting.if the original was not cut back and then filler/primer was not applied in a heated spraybooth, you will suffer again and again..

have you looked for oil leaks on the floor under the seats? My hose burst just above the windscreen filled the courtesy lights panel with oil :( the hoses go down the left A pillar into the footwell then under the seats etc, you have to get the seats out. It was an €800+ at Jag Luxembourg :(
