There is a technical service bulletin from a long time ago. Tell the dealer to call hotline on oasis. there is a deflector that needs to be installed. Just ask.

I drove my 2009 chrysler 300c through about 5 or 6 inches of standing water now check engine light keeps flashing after i drive it a short distance

Flashing check engine light is a serious problem that can cause expensive damage to the catalytic converter. First, STOP DRIVING. Second, check the air filter. If it sucked in water, it'll be soaking wet and not letting enuf air through. If it's in good condition, get it towed to a shop. Don't drive it. Read this post

If you've been using your air conditioner during this time, and it hasn't rained at all, then the small drain at the bottom of the a/c evaporator core may be plugged. When you use the a/c to cool the car the evaporator coil [located next to the heater core in the ductwork under the dash] is very cold and moisture from the hot humid air condenses on it as a result. This condensation dribbles down the core and accumulates in the plastic housing under it where it should then drain out a small hole and drip onto the ground. If the small drain gets plugged, which happens quite often, then the water fills up the housing until it overflows and then runs out and soaks the carpet on the front passenger side. The drain is located on the engine side of the firewall, passenger side, down low where the firewall begins to curve under. Usually a puff of air will clear the clog and the drain will work fine again. If the carpet is really wet it would be a good idea to remove it and get everything dry again as it tends to get pretty smelly if left wet. One last note: usually a leaky a/c unit will only make the passenger side carpet wet unless it's been leaking for a long time while a leaky windshield seal can make both sides wet depending on where it is leaking. Good luck, hope this helps you out!

Air filter gets wet in rain

Sounds like the hold down clamps or bolts are not tight .
I'm not sure if this model has a rubber gasket inside of it.
Check out clamps and bolts. I can't find a gasket on my drawings doen't mean one is not there.

Loss of power when it rains.

If your air filter is not fresh, the difference in the weather conditions actually causes the air filter to restrict the flow of air into the engine just enough that the super sensitive system you are driving notices it.

There are also other sensors that pick this up causing a performance change in the operating system. If your filter has recently been changed then of course other than being soaked with water in freezing temperatures, this shouldn't be a factor. Just a consideration:

this is also a sign of the car going into the "limp" operation and could also be caused by something getting wet, such as the ignition system. Double check your seals and panels that block moisture from your engine components. Wiring can be sprayed with sealers to help in preventing excessive moisture if your wiring is showing any age.

Good Luck

Air bag light stays on.don't know if this has anything to do with it but i left my passenger side window down and it rained for several hours.the light seemed to come on any stay on after that

Your airbag light means your airbag may not be working or there is a problem with it. The fact of the down window and the long rain, could suggest that the airbag deployment system has gotten wet or the connections are coroded have it checked and mention the rain

Wet rear floor

Have you by any chance jacked up the passenger side, or got vehicle on a hoist to make sure there isn't any plugs on the underside that may have fell out? They could be round or oval metal or rubber plugs, probably in that area.
