Question about 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Truck
Hi bbprinting, if you dont have a code reader, go to your local auto parts store to have your truck scanned. most all reputable auto parts stores do this for free.
once you have the code they should be able to tell you why the light was set and might recommend something or you can post the code here and someone will help you figure out why the light was set.
after they check for the code, you can have them reset it to make the light go out. sometimes the light will be set for something simple like a misfire that may or may not return again.

If you handy around a car, get that code read from auto parts store (free), and get a service manual, best place I've found is promanuals.net, they have complete factory service manuals and great customer service.
