Question about 1995 Subaru Legacy
Diagnostic touble code po101
Engine load or the air volume entering the engine is measured by these components. The computer has recognized a return signal error as I will list some probable causes.#1 Vacuum hose off, cracked, or passage blocked. #2 Throttle body intake tube loose, off,or cracked.#3 BARO (Barometer) /MAP (Manifold absolute Pressure) defective #4 VAF (Vane Air Flow) MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor Dirty or defective. These are most all of the conditions for the code. It would be a good idea to pick up a manual for you're auto to help you futher. You may be able to look things over with a manual that will point out where these componants are located. I am not saying all 4 have a problem, just that they would cause this code. You will need an OBD-2 meter to check and clear these codes.
Good Luck and feel free to contact me.
