Question about 1989 Toyota Pickup SR5
My 89 Toyota pickup with 22RE engine idles too fast in cold weather and too slow in hot weather. Diagnostics codes are showing several problems with O2 sensor and Air flow meter. Can the O2 sensor cause the malfunction of the meter, or do both components need to be replaced?
Air flow meter could cause it but not O2 sensor

I would have a look at your coolant sensor, if it's reading the wrong temperature, it will cause a idle problem. If you can, get a scanner on it to verify it's operation.
