Replace thermostat, and antifreeze, check your oil see if it looks milky wich would indecate water in the oil and the antifreeze check for oil.if there is water in the oil be sure to change that also unfortunetly for you cold winter is the worst time to over heat a engine .

thank you,

I know how frustrating this can be, personally. The one other thing I see you havent changed is the heater core. I know you probably dont want to hear about more stuff to buy, but my bet would be there. The heater core is located under the dash and can be a hassle to replace. If anything, try flushing the radiator too. You will get this problem from anyone of these. If there is anything blocked in your cooling system, anyone of these problems could happen. I guess the bright side would be you only have to replace a few more parts to have an almost brand new cooling system which I might add is very important to the longevity of your vehicle. Hope this helps.

more than likely your losing cold water from your water system, make sure your water pump is up to scratch...sounds strange, but you need cold water for heat through your air conditioning...

Engine warning light say "engine over heating" and heater blows only cold air and the vehicle looses speed

Loosing power is probably the computer trying to protect the engine from damage. The actual problem could be low coolant or a problem with the water pump.

I changed the thermostat and it still blows cold air

sounds like engine pressure is entering the cooling jacket from either a bad gasket or a cracked casting..unless the water pump is bad..

Heater blowing cold air and reaplaced thermostat and water pump and heatercore hose and still blowing cold air ?

You heater core is probably clogged up with contaminates! If the water is not flowing through the core for the fan to blow the heat off the core you will not get heat!

99 expedition front heat blows cold and it overheats...I have changed the thermostat, water pump, and a new radiator...any suggestions?

make sure that there are no air pockets in the cooling system this can cause cold air and overheating. if this doesn't work you might have to replace the water pump.

hope this helped
best of luck

1995 Nissan pathfinder over heating blowing cold air.

Sounds like either your thermostat, which is the least expensive and easiest thing to change, or your water pump, or clogged radiator, which is a whole new world! The reason it wont blow hot, is because you are not getting any water to the heater core. Hope this helps.

2000 dodge neon want blow out heat

water pumps are famous at around 80 thousand km I see these give up and quit pumping internally!also the thermostat you changed is it a MOPAR from dealer with a seal with a locking tab and ball bearing on top center these after market ones are just not the way to go! 22 years exp!! with mopar these after market ones just don't seem to bleed air out efficiently enough! you should see your coolant moving around if your pump is working and if you have a air lock due to a replica thermostat good luck bleeding the air out of your cooling system,.QUESTION to you have you any automotive experience as this???[problem you have.
