Obviously you have a water leak 1st of all make sure your engine is cool enough to remove the radiator cap and ensure its full if not the cause may reside in the heater core if full ...roll all the windows up and a man inside the vehicle with a light starting very slowly and very gradually work the hose up and inside the fenders and then onto the door jambs then up to the hood and up each side of the windshield and sunroof or roof rack bolts if so waiting a few minutes each step until your 2nd man in the vehicle sees where the leak is coming from repair as needed with many products even silicone allowing it to dry and make sure to rise up as slowly as possible so to allow the water to penetrate and find its way into the vehicle your 2nd man may need to lay upside down on his back in order to do so as he is constantly looking for the source

Possibly the weather stripping around the doors is shot and the water is following the doorline and getting on the floor

Where should I look for rain water leak?

Most water leaks come from around the windshield area. Has the windshield been replaces recently? If so it may not be sealed properly. Another area where water may penetrate is through the cowling area under the wiper blades/arm where fresh air enters the car. There are water drains under this cowling allowing water to drain and if they are plugged with leaves/debris, water will enter the vehicle. Is the vehicle rusted around the windshield area? If so, suspect this to be the source of water intrusion. Most glass/windshield repair companies will diagnose water intrusion problems

Water leak driver floor board

A water leak under the dash could be the heater leaking near the glove box, or a windshield leak, or sometimes the drain tube for that area has gotten plugged up and needs to be cleared out. Most times a little blast of air pressure will do it.
Hope this helps.

Major water leak when it rains, water runs down driver side floor

Keep looking by covering area at hood etc and running water on the vehicle to locate where it is coming in---Windshield?

This is the best way if you cannot trace the stains from water to source.

Rain water filling up floor board on driver's side of 05 Chrysler 300 while sitting in driveway; appears to be coming through door. Could it be a floor plug missing and how would the would water...

Most newer cars don't have drain plugs in the floor. So it must either be your window does not close tightly or the rubber seal is completely gone around the lower door.

Are you getting enough rain that it reaches the floor board of your car?

Water is leaking into the drivers side floor when it rains

let's try something here and see if works,
get a garden water hose and put the most pressure near where you see leaking water and have someone inside the car look for it.
