How about replacing plugs, wires, distributor cap. one way i check to see if my wires are bad is to turn on the car/truck at night(no lights) and check the wires to see if they're arching to the engine block. if they are, time to replace. other than that try replacing intake manifold gasket.

Vehicle has a erratic idle . replaced egr valve, tps and idle air control valve . still have the problem.vehicle has the 2.0 litre engine.could not find any vacuum leaks.

Sounds like the engine may have internal wear, whereby the replacement of the egr valve, tps, and iacv won't solve the problem. Perhaps try to do a compression test to find out if the rings and valves are ok. There could also be a problem with a timing chain being worn if so equipped, which affects timing. Sometimes wear inside the engine can throw it out of specifications that the car was originally built to causing an erratic idle on the 2.0L engine.

Cant Find a list of codes 1989 Buick Century. Car stalls and has a rough idle. coads are 31 43 and 44

Here is a code list for you. Remember this doesn't always mena a sensor issue, the problem can be in the wiring as well, or in the case of a lean code you may have an actual lean condition due to a vacuum leak at the intake or vacuum hoses or connections. I have highlighted your fault codes and added extra notes.
GM common codes for OBD1 (for vehicles made before 1995)
12 System normal
13 oxygen sensor circuit open
14 coolant sensor high resistance or shorted
15 coolant sensor circuit low or open
16 direct ignition system (DIS) fault in circuit
17 cam position sensor fault
18 crank or cam sensor error
19 crank sensor circuit fault
21 tps sensor out of range
22 tps sensor signal voltage low
23 intake air temp sensor out of range, low
24 vehicle speed (vss) sensor circuit fault
25 air temp sensor sensor out of range, high

Car will stall out while running and be problematic to start again. Once car starts again it runs fine. Engine codes will come up for egr tps and vacuum leak. tps has been changed since this problem...

i would take a good look at the egr valve and the controls if its vac controled if its all electric then just the valve itself, this sounds like the valve may be staying stuck open and causing engine to stall also make sure the ports going into intake are clean and not getting plugged with carbon build up, this is where i would start, this should take care of the egr code and maybe the vacuum leak also.

Engine will not idle, stalls at stop lights etc - EGR code

To me if the engine will not idel and stall once you have stopped, that points to an IAC (Idle Air Control sensor) which is located on your throttle body.  The part is very easy to get to and changes out pretty quickly.  Hope this helps.  Thanks for an honest rating and for using FixYa!

1997 buick lasabre custom high idle, transmission, stalling

Try cleaning your grounds under the hood: under Ignition Module bracket, rf fender behind battery and lf fender in front of windshield washer fluid bottle.
I had similar problem and this fixed it.....grounds are very important for computer.
I used a carbon conductive grease on the connections to keep them from oxidizing.
Hope this helps you out.
