Question about 2003 Nissan Sentra
Could be oil pump failure. i've seen this a few times on these cars! but won't be able to tell until the motor is diagnosed and taken apart to inspect the failed part. are you sure it is the rod?
that sucks after putting all the money into the car! that must have cost alot of money!
i have also seen bad timing chain guide go and make a hell of a racket from the front of the motor and kind sounds like the rods are bad. seeing you just had it done 4000 miles ago something could have come loose. this is the more possible cause...
if the oil pump was bad you would have had a red oil light on the dash and if that wasn't there i would look at the timing chain and try to pin point the noise more.
good luck and if you have any more question please ask i would be glad to help you more. sounds like you could use a break!.
