It will be a fusable link which is in the wiring a few inches away fro the connector to the ac compressor. In is a peice of very thin wiring spliced in the harness that will melt down inside the insulation. Wiggle the insulation untill you find the break in that wire

If you removed the fuse for that circuit then that is not what is draining your power. You have to look elsewhere.
