Question about 1987 Dodge Dakota
I have a 1987 dodge dakota and i keep blowing fuses for the parking lights. i have checked all the wires none are broken or burnt. the dash lights stop working a month ago and have the same problem with them. my question is could the head light switch cause this problem or is there something im missing.
Your problem could be Rust in rear lights causing bad earth or shorting in parking lights or rear lights as plug shorting so.....unplug rear lights from plug to rear lights inc No plate light, switch on if still blows unplug both parking lights ....then OK so problem in f/p/lights,,connect up Left hand side ,,,still ok then problem in R/H/Parking light ,,,but dont forget when finnished to put them all back, and numberplate light as well (they are the most troublesome light)
Have a goodday
