Drivers side window (electric) has stopped rolling up. Any ideas on how expensive that will be to fix? And how long it should take to fix?

Check to see if all the other windows roll up and down from the driver side switch its either has 5 buttons or 3. It most likely is the switch. You should be able to buy at your local parts store for about
$100 (do not buy from the dealer unless you want to pay 2-3 times more) or you could try a salvage yard for a used one. Most yards have a 30 day guarantee.
Its very easy to install the switch, just carefully pry up under the ends
of switch so the clips don't brake on the cover and it will snap out. Remove screws and unplug wires. Install switch in reverse order.

Yea..switch should be checked first for power in and power out. If switch about $80-$150. If switch OK then probably window motor/regulator & that's about $200-300

How do i fix electric windows on nissan almera 2001 model they have stopped working any idea why?

The easiest fix is to find the fuse. Most cars have the fuses under the dash on the drivers side. It almost has to be a fuse.

You can test all the fuses or try to find a diagram on your car. Autozone.com should have the info.
Hope this helps.

1998 VW Jetta GLS Manual Trans. The driver side power window won't roll down. From the same switch the front passenger window won't up but will roll down. The passenger side switch works fine; passanger...

If you have a multimeter you can go to the underside of the master panel in the drivers door and independently check the switches for voltage or with no power to the switch assembly check for continuity. Good place to start. If you get continuity to through the switch then you need to check power to the window actuators in the doors.

All of a sudden the driver side window will not roll up.

is it electric windows? if it has electric windows does the passenger window roll up using the switch for it on the passenger door panel? if it works on the passenger door panel and not on the driver's door panel , then your switch on the drivers door panel is bad... replace it.
