Question about 1999 Pontiac Grand Am GT
Its hard to say the price of the starter...they vary from 100- 200$...the labor also varys if it is a 4 cyl or a 6 cyl...one of the two is harder to get too...big max two hours of labour

He beat it with a metal pipe because when your starter goes out it just needs a little push.... it worked, the car started. so if yours ever goes out try it. I found one from a junk yard for 20 dollars, got a guy puttin it on for 10 dollars. Im from michigan up there it woulda cost 300 dollars.. but in kentucky theres always nice guys around lookin to make a buck and theyre good at what they do!
