Question about 2003 Ford Focus
Gas, temp, and speed, jump from working right to nothing then to working right. checked all fuses all ok
It isn't fun but; try pulling and re-plugging any connectors you find, especially under the dashboard. Your description sounds a lot like a 'flaky' connector. Also, if your owner's guide or the cover for your fuses has a description of fuse functions, pull and replace the fuse for 'accessories,' If this supplies the dash with power, it may just be a crusty fuse holder.

Also look for bad or loose grounds wires. Anywhere.
