You can purcase a union for the hose at your local parts store. Just cut the hose where it is torn and install the plastic union

Water jets not working on ford cougar

I'm believing you are talking about the windshield washer jets. If so, it's not uncommon for these to get plugged after some time. Unfortunately, they are so small that you can't really put much into them to clean them out. A tiny strand of wire can be used to clean them but you need to remove the hose from the bottom side and try to run that wire through it to be sure it's clean.

If someone has put in washer fluid that had anything at all in it, leaves, debris, you'll have to clean the whole system.

When you have the hose off of the windshield washer nozzle, operate the pump and make sure it's getting fluid to each point, clean & reinstall as necessary.

Good luck.

Windshield washer fuild will not come out passenger side. Does the driver side. How do I remove the left front cover speaker cover.

I know an easy fix if you can get access to the rubber tube that is the opposite end of where the fluid comes out of. Just blow into the rubber tube as hard as you can. When the obstruction blows out of the tip of where the fluid sprays on your windshield then hook the rubber tube up and test your washers again. Ive done this many times and its always worked for me.

I hope this helps you out.

2003 Ford Escape: When I press the button to my rear winshield washer the motor turns on but the fluid actually runs out onto the ground just above the right front tire wheel well on the passenger...

Sometimes due to deposite of sediments in the hose or the joint of hose and reservoir the fluid stops flowing. Find out which is the washer reservoir, (there is one for the radiator with green liquid, and one for the washer with clear liquid) and the hose that leads to the windshield. Clean the whole hose of any blockages. Also check and clean the jet at the end of the hose. take a paper pin and clean the jet with it. And make sure that the hose is attached to the reservoir. Ask someone to run the washer and see where all these items lie.

Windshield washer jets on my 92 Honda accord do not shoot windshield fluid out.

I would check the supply hoses to hood. I would also check the washer pump in the washer fluid bottle.

2003 trailblazer, rear window washer fluid not coming out. Pump sounds like working and water comes out the bottom of the rear door. how can I fix?

check the rubber hose to the jet (spray nozzle) to see that it's not torn. then check the jet to see that it is not plugged up. (has a blockage) if it's has a blockage blowing it with a blow gun and compessed air will unclog it.

Does the 2006 toyota camry require special windshield fluid or will water do?

washer fluid had cleaning agent to keep your windshield clean and clear. water will not and will freeze up in the winter time if you live in the cold area.

Those little nubs on your hood or the spray jets on the wipers those spray jets need to be adjusted and be pointed up you can use a sewing needle just don't jam them or break them.
