Test vacuum system and fuel pump using an hand tool gauge like this: Deluxe Vacuum and Fuel Pump Tester.

Place the gauge on vacuum lines to find vacuum leaks.
Use the tool on fuel pump outlet to find out if fuel pump is failing.
If there is nothing in there , use an OBD-II Code Reader to pull out code from ECM (car computer). This will reveal eventual problems with idle air control valve and throttle position sensor ,O2 sensors, MAF and AIT sensors, injection, distribution etc. And will tell you if there is misfire.
Once you do this tests , you will be able to localize the problem.
Fuel pump problems, vacuum leaks, O2 sensors problems can commonly cause idle going down after ten minutes. Vacuum and idle air control valve are among the most common.

Sounds like a clogged fuel filter. Apart from the fuel filter, manufacturers build in diagnostic software to the computer and provide fault codes so that you can know what parts (if any) have failed. YOu need to check for fault codes

Sounds like a EGR valve to me, If you have a check engine light coming on, you can take it to autozone and they will check it for free.

The three things that it may be are: EGR valve, Idle Air Control Valve, or Mass Air Flow Sensor.

Just a shot in the dark, but it could be the o2 sensor, when the vehicle warms up it could be overheating the o2 sensor and shutting itself off because the fuel/air mixture is not right.

Simply enough, it sound as though your spark plugs are fouled. When fouled spark plugs are cold they will direct the spark to the tip of the plug, but, once they warm up they start to ignite deep within the insulator giving much less power at the tip.

There are a few things to try that are not to expensive and could very well solve the issue..
Give it a tune up.. Plugs, Wires, PCV Valve, Fuel filter, Air Filter..

If the issue still exsists - replace the oxygen sensors..

You can locate all these parts on the car by going to autozone.com register and enter the car info.. Then you will have tons of info on parts, part #'s, where they are located on the car, how too, diagrans - ect..

Good luck..

There are a couple of things it could be. The Idle air control solenoid would be a starting point. There is also a TSB (technical service bulletin) the bulletin number is MTT-0599-04 Rough Idle After Warm Up, Poss cause is fuel pump controller, or connections.

94 camaro v6 engine and the idol runs at 2000 rpms, runs even higher if heater switch is turned on. shop cant figure out issue any ideas?

Not much of a repair shop

Use the codes & reference material to diagnose
the problem

No reason a repair shop can't do that

Leave it there until they drive it & the light comes on

They have a scan tool & have to use it on a road trip
& record the data

Have a 1992 toyota corolla 3 speed auto, that shakes when stopped at a stop light, and when you take off it runs fine. changed plugs cap and rotor and still does it..

Check your engine idol. It could be that your idol speed is set to low. It should probably run at between 800 and 1000 RPM. If it is not then your idol is to low.

check for air leaks on the emission system, if fine, check for the throthle posittioner disconect it, if idles good, replaceit, next go to the idle motor, is next to the throthle body, remove it and clean it with a good carburator cleaner, install it and start the car.
good luck.
