Interior heating/cooling fan not working

I have a 2000 Buick Regal GS Supercharged and my fan for heating and cooling the interior of the car was chirping for a couple of days and now that the outside temp is 33+ my fan stopped blowing and will not work at all. Is this just the resistor if so how do I get to it to change it out?

It doesn't sound like just the blower motor resister to me. I would suggest removing the dash panels in the way of getting to the motor, unplugging the connector and testing for power. If it has power through all of the different speeds change the blower motor. Cheap part on rockauto.com.....

More that likely, it is the motor itself. The motors are easy to change

What is the problem you are having? Transmissions are complex, especially automatics. So if you are asking this question then, I would recommend taking it to a trusted ASE certified mechanic.

should be on the fuel rail, take the plastic engine cover off and you should see the injector rails on either side of the supercharger, got to be real close to the line towards the firewall

Need to remove and replace the intake manifold gaskets on a 2000 Buick Regal GS, with 3.8 Ltr Supercharged engine. The engine is leaking coolant from below the intake manifold.

it is a great deal of work. The molded gaskets breakdown with time. You'll want to change the two 90 degree elbows as well - they are available from a dealer for a reasonable price. Also, the blower gasket is likely shrunk up and /or blown out. And you might as well replace the valve cover gaskets too as they leak oil as they breakdown with heat and time.

I did all of this on mine. Even as a professional, it took me a good 6 hours.

Both cooling fans will not come on

Did you try jumping the cooling fans with direct power to see if they worked and the fan motor isnt burned out?You can turn the a/c on while running the car and it should turn the fans on even if the car isnt heated up.
