Ignition module is bad.

Verify by jumpering the wires and attempt to start.

Check the engine ground wire that comes back to the battery negative. It is probably loose.

If you replaced ignition cylinder, then the keyfob may need reprogramming.
If that is not the problem, and ignition has already been reprogrammed then something must have done wrongly.
If you have not replaced ignition switch , then replace it and have it re-programmed.
If the problem is not ignition switch then it is ignition wiring.

Should be in the main fuse box near the battery.
Check your owners manual for details.

No start, no noises when key engages the start position.

The large red wire at the starter is to the battery. The smaller wire is hot in the start position only! have someone turn the key to start and then check for voltage. If you have voltage you need a starter. If there is no voltage you either have an open from the ignition switch or a bad switch on the column. 1 last thing. Most cars have a fusible link at the starter. If there is a short somewhere the wire acts like a fuse and blows. You can check that by pulling in the wire or just feeling for a spot with no wire.

2005 chrysler sebring convertible~ low beams not working, but all other lights do~ checked fuses and they llok fine...any ideas?

, try using a voltmeter on the plug for the bad headlights Turn on the ignition, and turn the headlight switch. If the voltmeter shows no voltage, then either your switch or the wiring leading to the headlight has gone bad.If replacing your headlight switch does not solve the problem, then there is a break in the wiring leading to the headlight, and the wiring will need to be replaced. also check to see if you have a relay for the low beams in fuse and relay box, check this first !

I have a 2001 chrysler sebring lx wont turn over

Hope you got a good deal on that oil change. do you believe in coincidence. I can't imagine how an oil change could do anything to stop the engine from starting. So you have to rule out things like starter and fuel pump. to check the fuel pump go to a parts store and buy a can of starter fluid. Remove the top pf the air cleaner box. Have someone spray starter fluid into the opening going to the engine while you are trying to start the motor. If it fires up the pump is bad if not go on to the starter. For the starter locate the relay under the hood (in a fuse box) labeled for the starter. Remove it. Then run a wire from the positive terminal of the battery (careful not to ground to car) and touch where the relay plugged in. One of the points should kick the starter over. If none of them do i would suspect the starter. if all is ok the next possible suspect is the computer. You will need a dealer for this one but some computers have extended warranties because of problems so ask the dealer about it. I just had one replaced for a customer last summer on a 2001 Chrysler T&C and it was covered under warranty. Whole visit was around $200 If this helps please reply and good luck

Key turns everything on but no engine is this the security system breakdown

i have seen a chrysler power train not start due to problems with the computer. don't rule out the starter because they do go bad too and you get the same situation. there is a relay in the fuse box for the starter. it is possible to jump power from the battery positive to the relay the make the starter engage. this will let you know the starter is ok. if ok then suspect the computer. many are still under warranty with chrysler. check with dealer and they can run scan on computer to verify

Car wii not start with a jump.

Could be a number of things. A starter, starter solenoid, ignition relay or fuse problem. There are a few different fuses and relays that will be located on your fuse panel and under the hood that deal with your starting power and feed to ignition system
