I have a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. Was told the electric fan will not come on which is why the Jeep overheats. I want to check the fuses first because I was told this would be the first troubleshooting step. Which fuses do I check? How do I know if they're blown?

Yea.. coolant temp sensor. if you are over heating you may need more indepth tersts done to determine more precisely why so that the correct failed reason can be corrected. Sometimes a blown fuse will keep the fans from comming on. 210 is right about where u want the engine temp to be anyway.

Try spinning the fan when the engine is off if it spins freely then you need a new clutch fan and if it dosent its something else a faulty thermostat maybe or a clogged radiator

Fix truck heater

Is the temperature gauge reading about 210 degrees? If the temp is low, the thermostat may be stuck open and not allowing sufficient heat. Also check the heater hoses to see if they are hot to the touch. If one feels hot and the other is cold or only warm, heater core is becoming clogged.

My cooling fan will not come on by its self ,but it does if u turn on the a/c

The radiator cooling fan runs constantly is A/C mode in order to disperse the extra heat from the condenser. With the A/C off the coolant fan should come on only when the engine temperature reaches about 210 degrees, and then only cool the system to about 190-200 degrees and shut off.
If the fans does not come on and allows the temperature to go much above 210 degrees you may have a bad temperature sensor.

When i plug my water sencer cable in to the actual sencer the fan

the sensor is no good, they come on when it is unplugged because the computer does that to protect the engine from overheating if it sees nothing from the sensor,so replace the sensor and that should fix your problem, hope this helps

Heater puts out low heat

210 degrees is a average temperature for most cars. However if its not for yours I would check to see if the cooling fan in the engine compartment runs continuously or shuts off. Check right at start up, let the truck sit overnight, start the truck in the morning and see if the fan comes on instantly, it shouldn't. If it never turns off there is a problem with the electrical circuit, bad relay, short to ground, short to power etc.
