Ok i'm trying to change the front brake pads on 2006 ford expedition and it doesnt take a T40 or t45 torx the rear ones took a T47 but the front ones takes something else the next size is a t 50 a

The front caliper takes a 9mm hex drive socket, and you can order it from Snap-on tools online. Nobody else had this socket and its the only one that is made for that caliper.

How i fix my brake lights on my chevy silverado 2500 hd 2003

Hi, All you need is the lower Torx T55 is the only one you need to get out, then the entire caliper just swings up to where you can work on it. The upper one (that the leaf springs block) only has to be removed if you're replacing the caliper, and in that case unbolt the 2 hex head bolts and remove the entire assembly.

Changing front brakes on 2003 Chevrolet Silverado

it is a torx bit for your caliper bolt.a size t50 if I am thinking right. use a good one as these can be hard to get broke loose.as far as rotors remove cliper slide bracket with an 18mm two bolts and rotor will slip off. might have to tap with a hammer
