Question about 2006 Peugeot 604
2003 Peugot 406 2.0 Hdi Estate. Couple of months ago would cut out but start immediately whilst driving. Suspected air in system after service, wife noticed air in fuel pipe whilst local mech was using diagnostic tool (nil found). Happened a couple more times then all seemed well until today when happened again. Again started immediately - no warning message or lights. A possible dangerous situation. Could it be air still trying to clear the system?
I have a 308 and the same problem, I would be driving along and the car would just shutdown....very dangerous. The service staff have told me that it is caused by poor quality fuel. Had the fuel filter changed and all seems ok for now, but this should not happen just because of bad fuel.

I dont belive it is air that is cousing your problem. Think it is more an electrical isue. I have had some problems with relay module (engine bay, near engine computer). And check fuel lift pump.
hope it helps

renew the flexible hose connections at the tank end if fitted and not a plastic pipe going straight to sender unit .Sucking in air problem is one of THEM jobs .a right pain to find 99%of the time .but any flexible rubber pipes can and do go porous with age
