It sounds like it's either your fuel filter or your fuel injecters. If you change out your fuel filter don't forget to release the pressure in the fuel line before you take off the old filter. The pressure may be strong enough to knock the filter from your hands, & the spraying gas could harm you too. As for the fuel injectors the best stuff I found is Lucas brand injector cleaner. It's $5.99 at Auto Zone. pour a bottle in a full tank & take a 15min drive down the highway. You may see a light smoke coming from your tail pipe but that's what you want. It's the sludge & gung you don't want coming out.

1995 volvo 850 turbo wagon will not start all of a

You can check 2 things. 1., have someone in the car to turn the key to the start position. Tap the starter with a small hammer and see if it cranks. If it does, replace the starter. 2., have the battery tested as well as the connections to the battery. Corrosion builds and can cause heavy resistance to heavy loads(like starting). These are the 2 most likely causes. Let me know if you need further assistance.

If a car has been sitting for that long then the battery is going to be bad 90% of the time. Get a new battery and put some fresh gas in and you will on the road,.when you go to the parts store have them check the old battery to make sure but I bet that it is bad.

Did you replace hoses to eliminate the codes?? Try checking all the fuses for a start then check for any ignition sparks then try to listen to the fuel pump activation on IGN and STRT as well just try to go step by step and eliinate the different components as you go. Good luck.
