Sounds like a mechanical defect. I had the same problem and it was cheaoer to replace it. Can usually find one in a scrap yard. Keep in mind, some stock c.d. players won't play 'burned' c.d.'s because they are heavy.

Won''t eject a CD

No idea which car, which changer - next time add this info.
Most changers or radios with CD capability have a manual eject option - usually a small pinhole on the face which you can insert a paper clip to do this. HOWEVER, you should really check the owners manual before doing this.

Try loading your CD into the first slot of the magazine. Be sure the magazine is completely seated in the player

2005 Expedition - Changed battery and Cd changer won't work now, is there a fix?

I am not familiar with the 2005 Expedition CD changer, but many of the higher end devices require a code to be entered when the power is disconnected. This helps reduce the theft of car audio equipment since it can not be used again until the correct code is entered. Ford dealership can either enter the code for you or look up the code if you do not have the original manual for the CD changer which should have the code written somewhere in the first couple of pages.

Cd System in 2000 Chrysler 300M

Had same problem wit my 4 disk. A CD was jammed. Remove and open the unit up and remove the CD. The mechinizem might be jammed also. Try this before replacing. Seems like a common issue with these units. The newer 300Ms came with 6 disk changers.. not sure if these will work with the existing radio.

Good luck!
