Question about 1997 Mitsubishi Montero Sport
My raditor fan was replace and rigged to a toggle switch in the dash. they also rigged it directly to the battery so when the truck is running the fan is on (as long as the switch is on) and when the truck is off, the fan is off, no matter what. the problem is, after driving home from work, the coolant is hot and the fan isnt running to cool off the engine so the coolant boils over onto the ground and i have to constantly replace the lost coolant. what do i need to do to rewire this problem CORRECTLY?
They rigged the fan directly because the temp sensor is defective. nothing wrong. just don't forget to turn on always the fan switch. or if you want, replace the temp sensor.
