2003 vw gti turns over but wont fire

Check to make sure you are getting fire. Do you have fuel pressure. There will be valve on the fuel rail (looks like an over sized tire valve) Turn the engine over a few times and push the center part of that valve on the fuel rail (stay clear) Fuel should spray out. If not its either a bad fuel relay or the fuel pump is bad. If you have both fuel and fire, Then do a compression test on all cylinders. If you have no compression, the timing belt may have broke. Hope this helps

"The car didn't overheat" you may have a blown head gasket, also if it sustained heat for a prolonged time , the head may have warped. Check coolant level.

I have a 96 vw gti v6 and its loosing coolant but there is no leak.

Pull out your spark plugs and examine them. If you find that one or a few of them appear to be "cleaner" than the rest or exhibit a gray appearance chances are you are leaking coolant into the combustion chamber and have a bad head gasket.

2003 beetle convertible top detached from window

My problem has been solved. I contacted the VW Customer Service and spoke with an advocate. The advocate and my dealership reached a conclusion and VW has decided to replace the items to alleviate my problem at their cost. Sometimes, dreams come true. Good luck to all of you who have similar problems with your VW Beetle convertible. It took quite a lot of patience and determination on my part, but the VW advocate was sympathetic to my plight since I'd never taken the vehicle anywhere else but the dealership for all repairs. The repairs have not been completed yet, so I cannot say whether or not the dilemma is, indeed, solved.
