My dashboard says- Service Ride Control? What is that about?and how much can that cost? It does feel like my rear shocks are shot"however the car only has 59000 miles on it? Is it the age of the car that is making everything fail? certainly not the low mileage"

Robert, When you come out in the morning is the vehicle sitting low to the ground especially on one corner or one end? Can you hear an air pump that seems to run for a long time? These are notorious for having the air suspension bags to start leaking. The only fix is to replace the bags. This is not a job for an amature. You can get be seriously hurt or killed if you don't know exactly what you are doing. Take it to a pro. Thanks, rich

I replaced my shocks with better quality... And now my Service Ride Control is also on. The mechanic said the truck is looking for the electronic switch on the previous shocks. There is a switch they can install to over ride the warning. Don't know if you had new shocks installed, but thought I would mention it.
Hi there:The service ride control light being on is letting you know the system has detected a fault. This can be caused by a defective esc module or a bad compressor. need to have codes pulled out of the electronic suspension control module. Need some specific dealer tools in order to reset it or solve it. Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer. First-on dashboard right hand side of steering wheel there are large (approx 1" sq) buttons-push to turn on-push again to turn off-for the rearwindow defroster, hazard flashing lights and....cruise control. Push cruise button to "on" and you'll see green lights on speedometer bezel light up. On end of wiper control stick on rightside of steering wheel-you'll find a pushbutton. Get car to speed you want-then push this button in. To turn off cruise control completely-push first button you pushed on dashboard.
this means that you have a fault with your stability control system. the stability control is designed to prevent a rollover it detects body roll when you are driving the ride control is the air suspension sytem this keeps ride hieght the same based on how wieght is in the vehicle. check the links that connect the switches to the suspension you may have one dissconnected (these links wear out over time you night have to replace them) there is one on each wheel postion if you need anything else let me know
