Front end noise

I am getting thumping noise from the front end when I go up or down curbs. Could it be engine mounts or worn rubber bushings? I've replaced the shocks.

Sounds like it may be sway bar links however it can also be the ball joints

2005 cadillac front end thumping noise

That's a tough one since there can be so many different causes, starting with something loose under the hood to a problem with the suspension (sway bar links, control arm bushing, ball joint, strut mount, motor mount, etc etc). This can be a serious safety issue, so if it were my vehicle, I would first get to a dealer or alignment shop right away to have the front end suspension, tires and wheels checked.

Friend of mine just bought one of these with the same symptoms. The torsion arms for the front suspension have a rubber mount bushing. When they get worn out the arms bang like crazy. He replaced the bushings and all was ok . Take a look at the bushings for the torsion arms

Car makes a big clunking noise when you first start to move

Hyundai Sonata is a front wheel drive.
When moving in a straight line, the noise will be from motor mounts, transmission mounts and stabilizer support from the top / front of the engine.
Inspect for rubber bushing ware and loss mounting.
Lift up the vehicle with jack stand or a shop lift to give a better view of the worn parts.
======
Check the CV plastic boot axles.
A worn CV will make noise on tight turns.

Front end clunking noise going over small bumps

It could be a couple of things.
Loose or worn out strut - (jack up car, remove tire and shake the strut really hard to see if it's loose. Check for signs of leaking or damage to strut)
Missing rubber isolator under front spring (visually inspect the suspension while tire is off).
Broken sway bar mount or missing rubber in the mount on the frame. (Lay under the front and look for where the sway bar mounts to the frame. Make sure everything is tight and the rubber is still in it.

Front suspension noise-dull rattle-thumping sound,bumpy roads

look at the front lower engine mount. I had similar noise which has been driving me nuts, thought may be thesway bar links, put it on friends hoist and saw that the front engine mount (mounted to bottom of lower radiator support) was cracked and the rubber bushing inside very worn with pieces missing. odd thing is that reving, or putting into gear never caused it to make a noise, just certain bumps. I ordered part from Autozone, hopefully it gets here before the holiday week end is over.
Good luck

Sounds like a broken shock rattle orstrut loose when you go over bumpy roads dealer says front end is tight but noise is still there driving me crazy

Check engine mounting rubbers or bushes. If worn or loose they can cause noises like this. Shouldn't happen in an 08 though. Check things like the battery strap is tied down and the fuse box cover is secured.

My truck makes a loud thump from the front on the passenger side.

Most likely you have worn out suspension parts. A front shock could cause the problem because the rubber bushing holding it in place may have dried up and fell out. Upper and lower A-arms have rubber bushings as well.
Best to have the front suspension checked out before it gets worse.

Squeak from front left wheel...

It could probabely be the brake pads ,some cars have worning light come on and others have this little projection of steel piece working as warning tht the pads needs replacement.
Remove the front wheel andyou will be able to see the brake calipers and the pads.
Good luck.
