Follow the hose from the radiator to the bottom of the engine. You should notice a housing for your thermostat where the hose meets the engine block. And, don't ask why they put it on the bottom !!

Could be a lot of things, take it to autozone. More than likely they can scan the code for you, they can't tell you exactly what is wrong but they can steer you in the right direction. Give them a call to see if they are able to scan the codes on your VW. Good luck.

Fog lights not working on a 98 beetle fuse card symbol confuseing what does the symbol look like bulbs are good 98 vw beetle thank you.


Fog lights fuse is #36, which is a 15A (blue) fuse that fits in the bottom "group" of fuses, center row, 2nd from bottom
