The relay for the turn signals and hazards is located behind the the hazard button and it 's bad. Pull off the trim that covers the heat controls and radio to get to it.

That's not the relay. That's a bulb losing connection. I have a grand am that does the dame thing. One of my left rear turn signal bulbs has a corroded socket. Bet you have a similar issue

2002 Pontiac Grand Am turn signals not working. Could this be a fuse?

None work , left , right , front or back ? Check TURN LPS fuse C 10 Amp -in Left instrument fuse panel ! More then likely it's the switch on the steering column or the hazard switch , power for turn signals come from the hazard switch !

My turn signals on my 2002 pontiac grand am wont work is it tha fuses or???

The gm line of that erra runs their turn signal through the hazzard switch, when your turn signals are inop, try depressing the hazzard switch a few cycles, if this alows your turn signal to function again as hazard switch will be required to repair the problem, hope this helps

Turn signal work some times

I have this problem with my 2002 grand am. When my turn signal doesn't work, I turn my flashers on and off really quick and then the turning signal will work. It is caused by a bad connection. Sometimes if I am going to be in heavy traffic, I will press the flashers button several times before I get on the road to hopefully prevent that problem.

Turn signals stop working periodically

i have the same car, same problem. I got a letter a few years ago that said that there was a recall on the turn signal, which often stops working and that it would be fixed free of charge. I haven't had it fixed due to a lack of time, but I also know a shortcut when the problem happens...if the turn signal stops working, try to push the emergency flasher button on...and off. signal should start working
