I used my electrical engineering experience of H-bridge circuits and a test light to troubleshoot, without a manual, to determine whether it was the driver window switch or the window motor. I determined that the switch was not closing properly. I replaced the switch and it fixed the problem.

Great....forgot I even answered that one....Motors are a big problem with those though gald to see I was wrong...easier to fix a switch!!!

Likely a bad window motor...I've seen better motors in kids toys!

I have a 91 bravada. The drivers side window is stuck open about an inch. I can move the other windows up and down but only about 2 inches. How do I fix this?

Have you tried spraying the channels the glass slides in with Silicone spray lubricant? Do that but keep it off any plastic tor trim.

Most likely broken cables or broken sash clips. Time to remove the door trim panel and see what's going on. Replacing a window regulator isn't very hard.

2005 Navigator driver side window started making a grinding noise, and moving slowly. It is now half-way up, and wont go up any further. It will go down, but I don't want it stuck all the way down so...

What is happening is your Window Regulator (the Framework that raises and lowers the window evenly.. a series of pulley's and Cables) is getting worn out. It needs to be lubricated and part of the problem will go away. The Motor is what moves the Cables....

SO either the Cables need to be lubricated or the Regulator is getting worn out...

I Have A 1995 Subaru Legacy And The Driver Side Window Will Not Go Down, I Have Taken The Panel Off, But I Cannot Seem To Get The Window To Go Down Still, What Do I Do?

If this is a power window, you would have to disconnect the motor to be able to move the window glass.
If you have disconnected the motor and the window glass will not move, look for something stuck in the regulator or the tracks.

if you look inside the door panel you will see that there are guides on either side of the window mostlikely these need to be adjusted slowly move the window down till yuo see where it becomes loose from the trackthen loosen thebolt at the bottom of the track and move it closer to the window and do the same on the other side

Electric Window move slowly

Your window clips that hold the window in have broken.  You will need to replace these clips in order to fix it right.  The clips you can buy at any audi dealer.  Ask for the most updated ones.  There have been many updated clips.  Audi has been trying to develop better ones for years but they still keep breaking.  Its a very common issue.  Your window will still go up and down but since the clips broke you will have it bind in the track. To get you by for the time been.  Lubricate the window track with some silicon spray.  This will help keep it from binding up until you can do the repair.

Rear driver side window seems to be stuck...

it is possible the regulator is fine and it just came unattached from the glass. Grasp the glass and try to move it up and down if it will move up and down tape it up until you get it fixed. If it seems like it is still attached then yes likely you will need to replace the regulator.
