The switcwes that turn on lights when door is opened are located in the door latch itself.spraying latches in door liberally with CRC may work consult a repair manual for exact dash bulbs & procedures.

All interior lights and trunk light will not come on.

There is a fuse for these. Fuse good and has power to it. Look at replacing the light/dimmer switch. If the fuse is good, you need to check for power at the switch plug. Could be a bad wire.. Power or ground.

Interior light delay

Same for both doors? If not, I'd check the switch(s) on the drivers door (may be more than one), or may be just one that has multiple contacts and the ones for the lights may be faulty.

Interior lights dont come on when door is opened

check for a dome light on and off switch by the headlight switch or check to see if the dash light dimmer is not turned down the whole way. if those are good then check to see if the door switch by the hinge is not stuck

I need to find out why my interior light s dont come on when u open the door

assuming what year vehicle you have you could have the dimmer switch in the off mode. it was an option for a few models that allowed you to leave the interior lights off when opening the doors as to not disturb the sleeping passengers

that not being the case then check fuse 107 @ the cjb and the interior lamp relay

Ny dome lights will not go off. have to pull the fuse.

Try adjusting your dimmer switch. If your dimmer switch is turned to high, it will turn on your interior lights on. You'll find your dimmer switch on the same panel where you head light switch is located, easy to accidentally moved it all the way to turn on your interior lights on.
Thank you for using Fixya and good luck. Keep me posted, if it's not your dimmer switch. The it's going to be one of your door pins are bad and shorted, causing your interior lights to stay on.

I need help! The interior lights do not work in my trail blazer when i open my car door

check the fuses?
check the switch on the door? usually hinge area.
check the manual control(not sure on this model, sometimes part of the dimmer for the dash lights. It will click one side or the other to lock the interior lights on)
Usually it is the fuse or the door jamb switch.
Oh and dont forget the bulb itself and the switch near the bulb.

Driver door locks don't work and interior lights won't turn off

Have had same problem, A stiff wire in the harness to the door flexes everytime door is opened or closed, eventually breaks. If you are handy you can probably re-connect them but not an easy place to work. This is between the door and the frame covered by a rubber boot.

Grand vitara 1999 when door open inside lights do not turn on

There should be a switch on the dash that controls the interior lights on the vehicle. It might be part of the dimmer switch. Usually the switch will turn on the interior lights in one position, off but on when door is open in another, then off all the time in the third position. Check this switch and verify that it is not in the off position. If the switch is in the correct position then the door swicth located on the inside of the door might be sticking. Check the switch stem/button action and makes sure it fully pushes in and out. Also verify that the interior bulb is good(not burned out) and that the fuse for the interor light is not burned out.

99 bonneville, door locks not working, interior

It could very well be the dimmer switch. There is a plastic cover around the steering wheel held by a few screws. Remove the cover & replace the switch. First check headlight grounds for good connection. A common problem with well used cars is that after opening & closing the drivers door 2 million times the electical wires at the flex point where the door harness flexs tend to break. Open outer cover & pry back to expose the wires inside. The ones that are broken are the culprits. Hope this helps you & please recommend advice.
