Question about 1993 Chevrolet K1500
How do I replace the starter on my 1993 chevy silverado?
Disconnect the negative cable from the battery..
Under the front end - find the starter near where the trani connects to the motor and the really big gear (flywheel) is..
Undo 2 bolts to remove the starter.. take the wires off and be sure to put the wires on the starter the same way..
Connect the wires to the new starter and put the starter in with the to bolts.. The starter will only go in one way so you cant mess up how it goes in..
Good luck !

Two bolts hold it to the engine block. Make sure you disconnect the battery first before doing any work. Negative cable first, then positive cable. After that, disconnect the wires attached to the starter and remove the two bolts, pull out. Replace in reverse procedure. Make sure you remember what wires went to what!

Not that bad, jack up front of car used jack stands, starter sit between radiator and engine, on engine block above oil pan, disconnect battery 1st.
