I just change the with toyota lucida repair kit, now my car woul not run, I tried to make high the engine revolution but the car does not move an inch. What is my problem

I am looking for a radiator for a 1992 Toyota Lucida Estima 2tz engine petrol propelled, new or used radiator

If you cannot find one from a dealer, a parts specialist or a scrap/junk yard try some of the Toyota owners forums. Another option is to have the radiator you have professionally rebuilt. However this could be more expensive.

Where is the air filter on the Lucida Estima

Yes it easy to change, look under the hood, look for a big air duct, duct from engine, will go to one of the front corner of your car, where it hooks to, under that case is where the air filter is at.

Why is it toyota lucida estima 92 turbodiesel hard

to engage the glow plugs you have to put your foot right down on the gas pedal,then release.
they changed the system to the doors opening/closing for the european/USA market
try looking up manuals from the answers page.....

how often have you had a tranny service done on it. if you never had the tranny serviced then sorry to say this you need a new tranny. your tranny is about to stop working all together soon.

CAR problem. I have a toyota lucida *** import.

And I am sure the car is gutless. There is little that you can do with it if it has died. You might be able to find another one at a scrap dealer and it is not too difficult to do the change over. The cost of a new one will bring tears to your eyes but the 2c engine is bulletproof and will give you thousands of miles of hassle free travelling. The older turbo engines need to be idled for a couple of minutes after a run to let the turbo wind down. If you don't they will run without oil and suffer premature failure.

The problem concerning low gear locked up sounds like a bad primary shift solenoid (located on the valve body internally) the other issue with the forward gear only engaging with the rpm up to 1800 could be inadequate hydraulic pressure (a transmission front pump issue), most likely there is no problem with the pump if when shifting the selector lever into reverse it engages quickly and normally. This may be a transmission computer issue and I would recommend having the dealership do a diagnostic check on the transmission to eliminate the computer as a culprit. transmission problems are very difficult to figure out and before spending a lot of money get the electrical diagnostic done first.

If you have a known good starter on it and all the wiring to starter and relay is good, you may have a locked up (siezed) engine from lack of oil pressure or runnung hot. I would try turning engine by hand (put a socket and ratchet on the balancer bolt) and try turning it, if it doesn't turn then it is locked up.

Weight of Toyota Lucida engine and gear box

The vehicle is just shy of 1900 Kg (lets say 4100 Lbs) and the engine and transmission have got to be at least 550 but lets say 300Lbs just be on the safe side. So, I'm thinking you should be fine with an estimate of 3800 Lbs

Sounds like your battery is going flat due to a faulty alternator or it could be as simple as a broken alternator belt preventing your battery being charged ;0) jason GT MOTORS lucida specialist.

Hi i have a toyota lucid 2.2 diesel automatic,all the dash baord light apart from the glow plug light stay lit when running and after a cpl of minutes an alarm activates,but ticks over o.k no overheating but after starting the car a few times when you turn the ignition key you just get a cick put a booster on and it starts straight away i have checked wiring terminals and put new battery on and they all still stay lit when engine running thanks
