1996 no tail lights

not much to go on here, but check the fuse. and the bulbs. does your dash lights illuminate or is it just the rear lights that are out? If none of the parking lights come on (front, rear,+dash) I would look at the headlight switch.

Replaced lightswitch on 96 Jeep Cherokee. When I turn the headlights on the parking lights go out

are we talking blows a fuse or just turns off... if it just turns off then you might check your wires. you may have put the parking lights on the dash lights and not the parking lights connector....

Dash and shifter lights in 1996 jeep cherokee wont light

Hello and welcome to FixYa . Locate the dial that controls the brightness of the dashboardlights. If the control is not immediately evident. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights Replace the fuse if necessary. If just one part of the instrument panel is not lighting up, then you have either a burned-out bulb or a wiring problem.

Jeep Cherokee Country - Front parking lights are out

I guess it would have been easier if I just mentioned the possibility of an element being burnt out, on a dual element bulb, and yes, it could happen on both.
