I am the owner of a 2000 hyundai accent, last winter my engine light came on but it did not affect the way the car was running so I ignored it, but as time went by the car started running rough when I would down shift the car to climb hill or pass a vehicle the engine light would start flashing and I would lose all power it would do the same if I brought the car over 50 mph I tried changing plug and wires did not help also the car become rough on gas I also changed the oxygen censor didn't help...anybody have any thoughts on this??????

dear friend:your engine has +-7 sensors controling the action of you engine increasing or decreasing feul for preformance of your vehicle,if any of this sensors should malfunction the engine light will come which will affect the preformance and feul consumption,i would say hook up to a scanner and work from there
