Hi there, the Common Rail Diesel Inyection (CRDI) 2000 cc 112 Hp M/T have a big trouble on cluth plate, and sounds very loud between 1500 and 2000 rpm on 2,3,4 shift. That motor has too much torque and cause excesive wear in the cluth roll and plate so starts roominess in the cluth system. You could change those parts but quickly the sounds come again. Hyundai is the resposable of that damage. I hope in the near future recall the CRDI model 112 Hp and replace the cluth.

Crdi?... what does that mean?... Does the vehicle have a manual clutch?... then it's a manual transmission... If it doesn't have manual clutch, then it must have P,R,D, 2, 1 (or Sport shift mode).. which is Automatic.

I have a Hyndai Tucson crdi JM 2005. I bought it 2nd hand. 176, 000 kms. since 2 weeks I hear a constant humming and hissing sound comming from under the car on the back passenger side behind the driver's sit. The history of the car shows that in 2011 there has been a service done to correct a licking HP pump. I went to the garagist and he tells me that the sound is comming from the fuel reservoire and I need to replace the pump inside the tank. I couldn't get more explanations from him and I don't feel that he has donne the diagnostics sufficiently. Now my question is is it possible that the HP pump BOSCH is having a problem again? are the simptoms such us tyhe noise I hear be also related to the HP pump? Please help me. I am stuck in a French village where all the garagists wouldn't bother to give me a rendezvous before 3 weeks. Thank you in advance!!!

They are only held in by rubber grommets as you can see by the ones you removed.you will have to carefully pry them up with a screw driver or similar.

You might have an air lock in the fuel system. The lines from the injector pump possibly need broken loose at the injectors and cycle the fuel pump several times until nothing but pressurized fuel comes out.

Tucson takes time to shift the gear

try changing the transmission fluid as this is easily over looked when servicing vehicle , new fluid will have better viscosity and so enable meshing of trans parts smoother

Where can i get a maintenance schedule for a Hyundai Tucson CRDI Thank you

The maintenance schedule is in the back of your owners manual. You can also download a copy in pdf format from Hyundai. Your local dealer will be happy to print you a copy of each service as well, that has the parts required together with current prices and all labour charges. Hope that helps Mike
