Radio and A\C quit working at the same time

My radio and A\C quit working at the same time, i checked the fuses and relay and it seems to be fine, also my radio has a detachable face plate where the numbers are and I was thinking this may be the problem as well. Would anyone please advise?

Thanks in advance.

Radio just quit everything was working fine then just got in car and wont come on maybe code dont know but checked fuses not that

Radio has a fuse at the back so you will need to remove the radio to check it,often youngsters play it too loud which causes the fuse to melt over time ,the louder the radio the more current its using

2004 Acura RL, I put a phone charger in the cig lighter and the lighter and the radio has stopped worker. I checked all fuses and they are fine.

Applicable fuses:

Under-hood fuse relay box: 7.5A BACK-UP RADIO fuse 56, 20A INTERIOR LIGHTS fuse 67

Under-dash fuse relay box: 10A ACC RADIO fuse 4, 20A BOSE SYSTEM fuse 9

If all of these are fine, everything should be working

Why did my radio and my cig. lighter stopped working?

I wish I had a dollar for every time I have heard "All fuses are OK" or "I already checked the fuse" or "I know it's not the fuse"....I'd be a rich man!

When cigarette lighters quit working, 99% of the time the fuse is blown because someting got plugged into it like a defective phone charger. The other 1% of the time, it is because the lighter element is burned out or somebody essed with the wires to the cigarette lighter trying to install some kind of aftermarket equipment.

Humor me and check Fuse #9 (20 Amp) in the passenger side fuse and relay box.

I have no head lights, no radio, no pump to my windsheild washer fluid, checked fuses and relay swicht's and get nothing

I have the same problem except my radio works. To me it looks like the washer fluid and headlights are on the same relay but replacing the relay does nothing. I disconnected the battery and removed the computer from the front of the relay box to let it reset and everything seemed to work fine at first. After restarting the car 3 or 4 times, the problem returned. Not sure what to do...

You have to check the fuse 26 is 15 amp as this is the one that feeds the lights and radio. Thanks good luck and I hope your opinion

The radio, turn signals and blower moter all quit working at the same time.

Find the fuse block and check for a bad fuse. The owners manual or a listing on the fuse block should tell you what items are connected to each fuse. Worse case there is a relay that needs to be replaced, but since the radio went too, I'm betting on a $.50 fuse.
