Could be a bad fan motor or a bad switch or a loose connection. The only way to pin point the problem is to troubleshoot the circuit with a multimeter

1996 ford probe is overheating, the fan won't come on

You have one of these:

- Blown fan Fusible
- Blown fan Motor
- Water temp sensor is shot

i won't say Blown headgasket or too low coolant level on the system because you have the fan not starting at all. that the root of the problem, do your engine overheats at high speeds? highway?

P0526 but fan is working fine

it could be a poor signal from the temperature sending unit, some vehicles have two some only one. in vehicles with two one of them runs the gauge and the other is a sender for your fuel and emissions system and triggers the fan. in either case a poor signal or intermittent signal might throw a trouble code. also it could be triggering at a wrong or low temp.

What does the code p0483 means for a gmc envoy?

DTC P0483 is set when the difference between the commanded cooling fan speed and actual cooling fan speed is greater than 1,000 RPM.
Reset the comp with the scanner, if it comes up again, then you may need to replace your fan clutch.
Technical Service Bulletin (TSB #04-06-04-090A) says, "The diagnostic calibration in the PCM may allow the DTC P0483 to set improperly." The bulletin directs technicians as follows: "Reprogram the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) with a new service calibration titled, 'New calibration to reduce the potential for setting P0483.'" this will have to be done at the dealership, or by a qualified mechanic.
Good luck.

Differential in trans axle

Won't be long before the trans will
have to come out

Save your money,lots of it

Flush the Power Steering Fluid, to see
if it makes any difference in sound

Won't do anything for trans, but both
fluids get changed every 30,000 miles,
so get caught up on those two.

I recently replaced the battery in my 04' chevy trailblaizer. Now my air conditioning, and heater will not turn on unless you turn it to 5

When you turn it to 5 with the A/C ON, does your your TB want to stall? If not, replace the blower motor resister behind the glove box.

Cooling problems

It sounds like everything is working properly. The temperature will go up when idling. The wter isn't being pumped through the system as fast. When idling, the engine runs at around 750 rpm's. When driving, even at low speeds, the engine speed is at least double that. Make sure your antifreeze is set for at least 20° below zero.

1998 dodge ram heater fan switch works intermittently

Sounds like a blower motor problem. Check for obstructions around the squirrel cage, or a broken cage.
