Question about 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix
My 01 GTP would occasionally slip out of gear which became more frequent but at the same time my speedometer & heads up disp would bounce and fluctuate radically. I replaced trans w/used from another GP that I drove with no problems ( I did keep orig trans to rebuild). The speedometer does not work at all now, trans is behaving the same way the original did. The only engine code Im getting is "low input speed sensor" I have no clue where the sensor is located or if it will solve my trans prob.
Check on side of trans, should look like sensor with electrical connection, run scanner for trouble codes
